Tubing the Blackwater River

Meetup begins at 9am at the event address for Bronco Talk & Fellowship. This is where you pay for your tubes and we get one bus ride ticket for the group. After payment, we have to drive down to the tubing end point & park inside the Blackwater River State Park. There is a $3 per vehicle parking fee if you don’t have a state park pass. We have to be at the designated bus stop 15 minutes before our bus leaves at 10am, so please be on time or else you’ll miss out & can’t get on the bus with the group!! Bus will take us to the tubing drop-off point & we’ll tube down 4 miles of river back to our Broncos. There’s an average of 30 beaches/sandbars we can stop at to sunbathe or eat, if y’all want. Tubing takes anywhere from 3-5 hours, depending on how often we stop.

If we can get at least 10 people (regular tubes), then we get a group rate of $19 CASH per person. Supply/cooler tube rentals are available for $12 each. They can hold a 48-50 qt cooler. Please pack food and drinks for the day. The Outpost has additional food & sundries you can buy if you forget anything.

Please RSVP in the Facebook event *and* leave a comment to give us the total number in your party. We have to turn in a total headcount a few days before the event. If you sign up & then can’t go, then please let us know. Thanks!
