Eglin AFB Off-Road Ride

Let’s go explore the land around Eglin Air Force Base! Every person going to the trail must register and pay the fees on the isportsman website (this includes watching two videos and downloading your Eglin Recreation Pass). The website is pretty intuitive and easy to navigate.

The day of the trip we will meet at 7:30am at the Shell station where we can air down and fuel up. Once we get everyone ready we can head south down Highway 87 a few miles and enter Eglin at one of the gates.

We recommend downloading the Avenza Map app because it has all of the areas that are opened and closed. You can use it to compliment ONX.

Rudy will lead as he is very familiar with Eglin. The wheeling is easy but we might have to do some tree trimming in lesser used trails.

Please pack a lunch and bring lawn chairs. It will be a full day of exploring, so there won’t be any food options during the event.
