ALPan - Broncos, Birds, & BBQ

Let’s get a group together to see the Blue Angels Homecoming Show at the Naval Aviation Station in Pensacola! Kids are welcome, but please keep the pets at home. Please bring a Government-issued ID and a chair to sit in. This event is free, but you’ll pay for lunch after the event.

Gates open at 8:00am and show starts at 9:30am. I expect this to get pretty crowded, so let’s meet up in the NAS parking lot around 8am. Once we have a good group gathered, we’ll head inside the gates to find a spot to sit. Please bring camp chairs or a blanket to sit on the ground. Chances are good that we won’t be able to park together for the show, so we can take Bronco pics after the show at Brother’s BBQ for lunch.

For those who are coming in from the west, some of us will be meeting at Buc-ee’s at Exit 49 on I-10E to caravan to the event. If you’d like to follow us, then plan to *LEAVE* Buc-ee’s at 7:00am sharp, since it takes about an hour to get there from Buc-ee’s and we still have to go through the NAS Base security gate on the way in.

This year’s event will also be celebrating the 55th Anniversary of the Lunar Landing.

General admission to the air show is free, and guests are welcome to bring their own portable lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the show. For those guests that would prefer to reserve or purchase seating, there are several options available. Check the website for event schedule and tickets:
